Replacing Batteries:
For optimum performance the battery should be replaced every year with a AA size 900 mAh rechargeable NiCd battery. This product will charge on cloudy days but the performance will vary depending on weather conditions access to the battery.

If Light does not work:
1. Make sure battery isolator tag has been removed.
2. Battery connector terminals must be tight and solar cell free of debris and snow
3. Solar light is powered by the sun. Make sure it is placed in direct sunlight for optimum performance.
4. Bright outdoor lights may turn off the Holiday Head at night.
5. Battery:
· Make certain battery is inserted properly….see + and - markings
· Move the battery back and forth slightly to ensure proper contact
· Make certain that battery is charged (expose the solar panel on the assembled fixture to at least one full day of bright sun)
